Well - we have decided not to sell our Expanda (we were contemplating a Starcraft) - considering the money we have spent so far and the way we optioned it when purchased. So refining it has begun....
Please note there is another thread re installing Truma heater - more updates later this week.

So yesterday off to Holiday annexes where we purchased bed end flys..........haven't looked at them yet - job for next weekend.

Kim and co at Holiday annexes couldn't have been more helpful......highly recommend.

X 2 from me, Kim and Jeff at Holiday Annexes are so great to deal with and their canvas bed fly's are first quality and look a million bucks! I'm a fan!

I don't know whether Jayco still do it this way, but the top "drawer" in our kitchen is not a drawer at all. Rather the drawer face hinges at the bottom and there is a fairly useless piece of plastic there, which, I suppose, could hold a dish mop. I had been keeping a waiter's friend in there to uncork wine bottles (not much use now as almost all wine has a screw closure these days!)

This has been done before by others - I decided to turn it into a real drawer......see photos .....

This shows the triangular thingy originally fitted behind the top drawer face...

And from the side.......

We now have something very usable.

Great job Bill, can you give us more detail, is that a pre fab drawer? Could you post a pic with drawer removed?

Cheers.

The sink bowl is in the way in ours also - maybe more in the way in yours??
That's why the drawer is narrower than the drawer front..........

Great job Bill, very professional, that extra drawer sure will come in handy!
You bet it will! We can't wait to get away in July school holidays with family - our son and his wife are both teachers. We haven't used the van for nearly a year - the mods I am doing now will transform it - further progress on the Truma heater this weekend - should be fully installed.

Can't have been that easy, Bill, or Jayco would have done it, wouldn't they? :becky:

The Swift is the same. Some dill stuck a sink in the road, but wait! That little draw that tilts out is triangle shape. What happens if we use the same idea, but make it square? And deeper?
