For those that have opted to, why did you go for an extended drawbar length? Whilst i have got quotes with it included, im curious as to the contributing factors others had to go ahead and order with the van.
Better to be able to add a box later and not want to, than be not able to I suppose. Although imo, the ext ticks off more than just a storage box. We have stuff in the box that will otherwise only be able to go in the van, and would just trash the inside of van particularly offroad. Chairs, filthy wet ground mats, jockey wheel, chocks, hoses, sullage, sooty camp fire plates etc.Haven't decided if I will eventually fit some sort of toolbox to the front, but I can see the advantages of an extended drawbar especially if stopping overnight and leaving it hitched. Being able to get into the back of the Ute is a bonus (albeit tight)
For $248 it's a no brainier I guess
