Is anyone towing with one of these, I took a 2004 model and hooked it up to our 22.68.2 OB for a test tow, wow, what an amazing tow vehicle with every option you could imagine, I think I know what I want to tow our van now.

My mate is towing a van around the USA with a 1500 RAM with the 5.7 V8 Hemi and he's wrapped in it, pulling a 23ft rig and returns figures similar to my Ute, I think I want one way better weights......the 1500 arrives next month....

I have a Jeep GC with the 5.7 Hemi and it's a great motor, but the Duramax is so much more, 3 T on the back and you literally could not feel it, it would exalerate up hill with van on the back as if it wasn't there.

My old boss had one, I got to drive it around Gatton for a few kms , I asked for a payrise so I could buy one but he just smiled, at least I got to open it up on a run to Tent Hill, awesome beast....................... Going to have a look at the 1500's petrol and diesel when they arrive, mate gets average 17lt/100 towing with the 5.7.....reckon the 3lt Italian oil burner would be similar ...............the Duramax would be nice though but the $140,000 price tag new is scary, even the $95K for a 2 yr old, plus I saw one yesterday trying to park in Woollies, he didn't stand a chance.

This is an 04 model with everything and it's around 50k averaged 17lph towing 3T in comfort, yes parking can be a challenge but it will be worth it.

Yeah that would be right, make me miserable with your posts about your Jeep now get a big Yank with that lovely engine...I will have to put you on my ignore list I think, I really will if you post pictures........

I looked on Carpoint at the RAM 1500, 2nd hand prices are more than the projected new price when FCA brings them in next month, a lot of folks will be Pee'd off when their price drops down from $100K to $60K .
