Anybody thinking of purchasing the newly fashionable black look vans be warned,the heat transfer to inside is enormous with some owners complaining to the manufacturers that it’s almost unbearable.Black painted car bonnets can get over 150F, also think looking at the working temps of popular sealants\adhesives used in vans these may be at their upper limits also

You would really think folks that are going to throw those sort of $$$$ at a trendy Van would actually think things thru, not just buy because they think they look cool........................ Then again common sense isn't bought either.

Like most people we had a black car once. With the heat inside and scratches in the paint, we would never ever consider another. I can only imagine how hot they must be inside.
