Hi,
Just wondering if members can share some thoughts on pros and cons of different brands of annex walls.

We are due to pick our new 16.49.4 up in a couple of weeks and we are still unsure about which type of annex (walls) to go with.
The dealer has suggested to go with the Kakadu Vinyl one, but we are unsure. The old vans annex was canvas, and it served its purpose.

We have noticed the Captain Cook or Flinders by Australia Wide Annex. Both have the bottom third made of vinyl and the rest made of canvas, the Captain cook has clear plastic and mesh for the windows with curtains for privacy, the door has mesh as well and all windows zip from ground up so they can be opened for access as well. The flinders has the standard mesh and wall cover over windows and doors. As well they dont look like a circus tent with the stripes, the walls have a selection of single colours that would match and van.

Any advice on either of these two brands or others would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Hi Damien & Mel

We have an AustraliaWide Annex (I am not sure but I think it is a Flinders)

It was the first one that had been made in the charcoal colour.

It was the closest match to the bedends.

So far it's been fantastic.

It's really easy to put up and only takes a few minutes.

When we open all the windows it's just like a screened room.

We picked up our Panda in October and had the annex put on pre-delivery.

The guys from AustraliaWide came to the dealership and did all the measuring-up which ment that we didn't have the stress of it after we picked up the van and then have to wait for the annex to be made.
