What is the best canvan waterproofer to put on your canvas bed ends? Or do you not put anything on them?

Water on all the seams to season the stitching rather than the canvas.
Do it a few times if possible.....and do the top of the awning as well.
Others have used spray on waterproofing but we didn't bother.
