Hi all,
I have a 2016 17:56-2 and I am thinking of removing the passenger side front single latch boot lid. I want to install the larger twin latch boot lid for better access like the current model has. Has anyone else done this before?

Just have to check dimensions to make sure it will fit, looks like its about 75 -100mm wider ??? being a f/glass wall no framing to really worry about, special care needs to be used when cutting so it doesn't splinter........... be sitting down when you check out the price of doors... they aren't cheap.... check out places like caravansplus, camec etc before dealers better range and price..
When I added one to Big Mal, I couldn't find a match, used a Coast door, looks plastic but its seems to be plastic/fibreglass material, I drilled some holes in door for a vent so found out.....

The Coast to Coast Door 3 will be the only one that fits nicely, the others start to get a bit high and will come up above the tunnel boot.
I also have a 2016 17.56-2 and have just ordered the Door 3, and will install the old one into the rear boot so it can be accessed from the outside when the bed end is folded up.

I would fit it with the hinges on top, that way if for some reason it unlocks it stays sort of closed also if its raining and you have to use it, the door will acts as a porch to help keep the rain out........... though it does mean it may get in the way when your digging stuff out, suppose it a toss up really..
