Hi

1) We just had 2 glorious weeks of free camping at Cosy Corner - half way between Denmark and Albany on the Lower Denmark Road.

2) Another favorite is Shannon National Park Camp Area - run by DEC so there is a charge, but it has hot and cold showers as well as flushing toilets.

3) Another DEC camp area is Baden Powell - outside of Dwellingup. They have just opened up a new camping area which you have to book online. I think there are about 6 caravan sites and plenty of tent sites. All new facilities.

4) Ellendale Pool is inland from Walkaway (maintained by City of Geraldton) small charge.

5) Sandy Cape just north of Jurien Bay - access road is a bit rough and there is a daily charge as well

6) Club Capricorn at Yanchep has a good caravan park - reasonably priced and just walk thru the sand dunes to the beach.

Hi
Yes Cosy Corner is dog friendly - has a sign that it is a Dog Exercise area. Contractors were emptying the rubbish bins daily and the Long Drop was cleaned every second day over Xmas. Fishing is best near the Day Use area, but some whiting was being caught off the beach near the camping area. Try to get there before lunchtime as it does fill up by nightfall.
We like to camp under the Peppermint trees at the end - you get 2 vans in there and nicely are off the road.
Hope you enjoy your stay.
