taut awning

Just a little trick I discovered in getting my awning extra taut without using a deflapper.

Just drop the legs one notch after you have tightened the support braces. Can be done with legs still attached to van as well.

This might already be common knowledge but thought I'd share.

The other tip is to flick the latch back to roll up once you have tightened everything, then the wind can't loosen it
