What size is the solar panel on a 06 expanda if there are variants where do I go to see the size on our van

Like wheel bearings not all are the same, the best way is to read the label, on panels you will have to lift it and look underneath, well thats the sure fire way otherwise its just a guess.

Don't want to lift it as Murphy will visit and create leaks all over the panel mount but if it helps the panel is 1700*990*40

@coys 53 , if you cannot read the specs on the back and do not want to release it from the mountings on the roof, you can measure the OCV and Short circuit current with a good multimeter when panel is in full sun and solar input wires have been disconnected from solar controller. Earlier models only had 80 or 120watt units but OB had higher units. With that much area, could be anywhere between 200 and 300watt depending on efficiency and type. Do you have any method of monitoring current input in you van or on solar controller if it has a digital display??

If you have to unscrew the mounts from the roof I agree I wouldn't either.... Boots way would be the next idea.

Will pass that one onto a sparky as my knowledge of electricary is limited and swmbo would not like it should I damage anything in the tugee unless it was me of course (party time)
