Search tool jumping on iPhone

Sooo love this site, thank you!
Think it's just an iPhone issue.. certainly doesn't do it on my laptop, but every time I click in the search bar to type something in on my phone, the cursor auto-jumps to the 'Search Member' bar, and if I don't notice, I have to retype what I'm looking for because the search engine hasn't been able to find 'suspension' in the Member-name data base, for example.
Don't know if it does it on android phones too?
Or iPads?
Hopefully there's an easy fix, either way?!

yes mine does the same thing. It doesn't do it on the Ipad.

Android phones fine too - doesn't do it on them. Just an iPhone issue.

Interesting Safari does it Chrome does not on a 6+.
I use Chrome so it syncs to my home desktop. Been using Chrome on the Mac for a while.

Also checked iCabmobile and Puffin on the iPhone both work fine.
Puffin is useful to have it screen scrapes so can work on Flash sites etc.
