Hi all,We are on holidays and were going to watch the storm game tonight. We are at Cunnamulla. I set up the dish and got 80%quality and 65% strength. I did a search and about 120 channels were found. But the only one I could watch was theVAST info channel. I got a E30-4 error for all the others. I googled that and it said I needed to reregester the card. I did that last week before we left and got a conformation email. I did it again tonight and the VAST website said at least abc and sbs should be available in about 30 seconds. 30 minutes later and the same fault was there.

Any ideas. SWMBO was of the opinion that the sat dish was a wast of time before we left. This has on,y confirmed it.
I would love to be able to watch the game tomorrow night!!!!

Cheers
David

Yep the rehit or re-activation should have it all up and running in the time it takes you to walk away from your computer, I find that mine will do what you have after about 3 weeks or so of no use, I just use the computer and log onto the Vast site https://www.myvast.com.au/register/reactivate tap in the number and away we go........all up done in about 3 mins.......

also if using a magnetic compass to line up the dish swing it 10 deg or thereabouts to the left from the given bearing as they usually give true bearings not magnetic on phone set up apps....have found phone compass to be useless.

Now I don't have the problem or hassle of setting everything up before we go away as I fitted an old dish on shed roof so I can plug van in and fire up TV every few weeks and it keeps it all sorted out.

The fact that you can tune in channels is a good sign
Your are obviously on the right satellite and downloading the transponder information.
I find that sometimes the box hits are a bit hit and miss.
I know it is a stupid thing but sometimes a reset of box and remove/reinsert smart card
Then re-hit the box

Good luck

Don’t know yet Bluey. We have been in Broken Hill for the past few days so we have been using normal TV. Will try it again soon.
