Hey all, im asking for the COOK.....:behindsofa:...... as she is some what miffed as to what others are doing for a rubbish bin in there vans....im sure some have plenty of room/cupboard space to fit a bin, but not so for her.....

We arnt real keen to have a small bin sit on the kitchen bench filling with chit and prepare food etc.....we found a small one at the big green shed but it just didn't quite fit the bill....so the search continues..

So, what have others done.....:popcorn::popcorn::popcorn:

Cheers all....

Open top bin in the cupboard under the sink. Lined with shopping bags. Emptied a couple of times a day. Gave up with the flip top lid. Didn't fit. Too much hastle.

Agree - bench space is a premium so a bin on it would be a pain.

(And I am the cook!).

We're boring...just use a plastic bag tied to side of van as we always cook outside.

Then dispose of it after making sure animals can't get it at night....so stuff rubbish bag in a bucket with lid and donate to rubbish dump or take it with us.

The 22' we have something like this under the sink lined normally with shopping bags. the 17' we had a small bin on top of the bench and yes gets in the way. Those Croc bins look good

Our 14 ft Tardis has about 6mts of bench space so a small flip top bin sits in the corner out of the way.

We have this bin purchased from Victoria's Basement however I can't find it on their website. It takes a plastic shopping bag so a good use for them and not having to buy liners. The bin is a good size for our van and being narrow doesn't take up as much room as a round bin.

Great question! I often wondered this. Filing away for future reference :washing::p
