Just about to fit a wireless rear view camera to the van. The wireless works as a portable hotspot and will link to my phone. I'm going to bypass the normal reversing light setup and set it up as a switch and constantly on when travelling. My vans not an expanda but I'll post the job as it progresses. The camera is only a cheap one from ebay. Hopefully it works!!!

While mine is wired I found 12v always on power in the rear lights loom. If it's more than a 90 deg cam though it won't be much good as a rear view just a reverse cam.

they are not as good, put it that way

the 270* ones are only good up to about 5-10m, after that you can see something is there, but just not what it is

with the 90* ones, they give a better distance - about 15-20m I think I was told
better for rear view

I started off with a 120 deg reverse cam and I could see the Kenworth when it was about 10 ft from me I now have an 80 deg cam and I can spot the Kenny way down the road just like in a rear view mirror, can still see the side of the road and it's still good for reversing, just so much better. Bought the cam from Brash Imports.

Here's what it looks like. I'll need to extend the power lead into the vans 12v system for permanent power with a manual switch so it doesn't broadcast when not travelling.
