Exterior Painting Stoneguard

Tried search but could'nt find any reference,
Has anyone painted the rough grey stoneguard area around and under the front boot. Mine has faded and the white is coming through. I thought a grey gloss acrylic house paint might do the trick. If you have painted yours can you advise on what you used.

If the rough stuff is still okay I resprayed mine with Septone Grey metal primer, it seemed to match the colour perfectly and stayed put....bought on special from supercheap for another job but looked the right colour and a test confirmed it.
