Discovery Our Van

Basically just uploaded some pics and thopught I'd add them here in the new Discovery section!!!! It's a 17.55-5 and we picked it up in March. Only used it oce so far, the birth of our son meant I didn't get to use it in the holidays just gone though:frown:! Looking forward to 10 days at sunny Forster in January though and hopefully something before then. I'll find the ones of the interior and add them later.

How do you find attaching the awning at the front of the annexe?

Awning is no dramas. Just zips on! Was a little challenge setting it all up for the first time but we got through it OK. The prospect of a beer at the end helped!!!!!!

really like the annexe setup, wonder if i could insert an piece to make mine like the angled long wall and the verandah.put a call to tebbs soon i think. cheers.

Check Your Stereo Aerials! Just found ours was leaking into the wardrobe, removed it to find the hole was not sitting under the base and there was no sealant used anyway! Will call Jayco to have them seal it as it is under warranty but just thought I'd warn everyone else with a Jayco installed Stereo. Didn't have any sealant left myself so being a muso, used GAF tape to cover it temporarily.

Also thought they would have used a stainless screw!!!

Thanks for the warning, another recall maybe! I agree stainless cost bugger all more, I replaced screws on our last van with stainless and will do the same with this van. The other ones to look out for are the screws that attach the awning to the van, after a while you will notice a brown streak coming from them, I will source some next year!
