It could work for them......we got into Jaycos, initially, with the old Flite which was a significant upgrade from the oztent we had at the time.

The pull over kitchen unit drove me mad but it was easy to tow and got us to places we now revisit in the expanda.

The piddly pull over sink seems to have gone from this model.

I haven't looked at a Swift / Flite for years but our Flite definitely had the pullover. Anyone seen one recently?

We sold our Flite in 2008, I think, for around the $11500 mark so this offering seems quite well priced and it includes the awning.

I like the US option of a spare wheel.

For a very basic camper, they are remarkably spacious.

But I was younger then, and more agile.

Id never heard of sikaflex when we had the Flite.

Or hot water, or showers, or toilets.

Tool kit carried consisted of two screwdrivers and a pair of multigrips.

Not so basic now!

Great idea really. It'll get more into vanning which can be good for the longevity of the pastime? They will always grow into bigger and better models?

I can vouch for the amazing interior space it gives you.

But....no real comfort adders so it's still very basic camping.

Since selling ours and moving to Swan, firstly, then Expanda, we have ditched extra fridge and extra shower toilet etc and now carry a hell of a lot less in extras.

It served a purpose....thank goodness, that has now gone!
