I have been reading this thread and do believe that it is the individual dealerships who don' t really follow up on customer service! Two years ago I had a new swan outback .... worked perfectly and then got jayco recall about possible problems with lifting mechanism. Took it to yayco cairns; they had it for FOUR weeks and said it was all fixed. I was moving from FNQ down to Fraser Coast and guess what happened the first time I wound the camper up? That's right.... the roof collapsed!! Took the camper to a local jayco authorised repairer just down the road from my new home, where they spent two days replacing lifters and realigning roof, etc. perfect job, and jayco did not seem to have a problem with doing the "recall" twice. I will be using the local man for any warranty and repair work on my new 14.4 OB when I get it in October.
