Mould

From what I understand the expandas mould easily. Were abouts do they mould & any suggestions on how to stop them from moulding.

I had one for 6 years before the new one and have never had mould

we have a shower model and no probelm with internal mould, my external roof seals however are getting a little mouldy, it's only 9 mths old.

yes my external roof seals get mould for whatever reason. I just clean them every now and then.

Mould has formed on the rubber seals on the roof, also around the rubber edging especially where they have packed in the Silastic. As Wizzer says, clean them every so often but our van is only 8 months old so it appears it needs doing every 6 months.

I wonder if there could be a common theme here?
Are the Mouldy vans stored under covers or in a damp shady spot or something like that??
Do other makes suffer the same problem, surely it can't just be Expandas, can it???

My mate has a Royal Flair and it suffers a similar problem. My van is stored under a roof with sides surrounded by shadecloth so the van can get damp without getting wet
