Thought it was about time to load up some images of our van and my mods to date.
We got the van new in 2015 and dragged it up to Mackay and back to Melbourne last summer and looking at SA this summer. To make it more comfy have done a few mods:
1. To get to the hatch under the front bed with the TV plugged in changed to a double 12V outlet, one of which is a double USB for the phones.
2. Put a double 240V ppoint at the rear bed - ran it from a second point we had installed on the bench. Also re-installed the 12V from front bed to the back.
3. Spent a few hrs crawling under attaching shade cloth or flexi electrical conduit (leftovers from my bro) to the various exposed hoses (replacing a couple of the crappy jayco clips with proper hose clamps). Split the conduit in two then cable tied together
4. Installed a thermostat controlled fridge vent van
5. Went to the big green shed and got a 7 runner and 3 runner clever click drawer setup for the robe - perfect fit. Just needed to put some spacers in with double-sided velcro.
6. Due to a dodgy exit from the drive I had to adjust the letterbox:
