Does anyone know where we can purchase a plastic holder to put the 12pin Flat trailer plug when the van is not in use?

Similar to something like this

Currently I just *throw* the cable and sling it over the spare tyre, but storage it neatly pointing down would stop the weather getting to it when not in use, less chance of the kids doing something with it when the van is unhitched, etc.

Plenty around for 7 pins, can't seem to find a 12 pin version.

Have seen folks use an old female socket screwed on the bar to plug it into, mine just gets slung over the handbrake. Was going to make a holder but thought less corrosion if its kept free, so far all good.

I might have to print 1 with a 3D printer and might throw the Anderson on there to. Pointing the pins down means they should stay dry in the rain at least

On my old trailer they could sit in a holder and on this rig they hang off the ground and I honestly think they are cleaner, no possibility of sitting in moisture or in dust/dirt....So I don't know, but a holder does keep them away from other damage.

It will be designed like a cradle to hold the plug, but have no bottom to collect water and crap. Anyway, need to get the van from storage to measure it up first.

hmmmmm
my 12 pin plug on the Van has a "flip" cap.............
I have to open it, then open the one on the car to fit when hooking up

so when not in use, it and the cable for my RV camera sit over the wheel carrier (under the box on the front)
