Help with tv reception- digital

Hi guys,
Just pulled in at porepunkah and tv reception is poor so they hire a cable to run from
An outlet to the input near your power supply outlet. Have plugged in but no picture. Others about having no problems.

Do I still need my snowflake up? Still have booster switch turned on?

Any ideas?

@Hiluxpanda I beleive that the boost should be off and your antenna should be down. Do not know how many outlet in the van you have but try each of them to see if that makes a difference. Had this set up @ Bamera and was able to get it to work, but I did not remember the full details of what I did.

Also try plugging their cable direct to your TV to make sure it's not a fault with their cable/connections

What jdove said, when they have an outlet I always run direct to my tv!

When we were travelling, we stayed at a few parks with these. I would plug the cable in at the outside tv point on the back side of the van, turn off the booster, and then re-tune the TV, all worked fine. One thing I found, make sure you have good quality antenna cables, Dick Smith ones etc, don't cut it, they are (not) cheap and nasty. Get some decent ones from somewhere like cablechick.com.au

Always make my own leads and use 6mm foxtel cable and F type connectors.

Always cheap when you get it through work!
