Great start to the trip $&@/ NOT!

Well we packed the van the the Triton today to go on out trip to Batemans Bay trip tomorrow then later this arvo I go to close the window on the ARB canopy and the glass explodes in my hands, not happy. Our first stop is Eden for two nights so I will source the ARB dealer to get part no's for repairs in Batemans Bay. I got no idea why it would shatter in my hands as nothing was pretruding out.
PS I have done my first mod but not to the van!

My brother in law is a glazier and he said that type of glass only needs to be tapped on the side or have a chip in the side of it and it can explode very easily.

Bugger! But you have a done a great job on the "Bush mechanic" repairs! I've always said if you can't fix it with Duct Tape, baler Twine or Tek Screws, It aint worth fixing!
