The fuel consumption figures. These are what will be on the windscreen sticker.
As always, take these with a grain of salt, but they can be used to compare vehicle to vehicle. (Sticker to Sticker)

Combined - 8.5
Urban - 11.2
Extra Urban - 6.9

Look good except for the blue oval thing on the front!:)
Where's the "dislike" button?????

BTW, I am very interested in this vehicle. I know you probably can't release (or don't yet know yourself) but I'd love to know if it has upgraded engine specs over the Ranger. At least 500nm would be nice.

What is Extra Urban?? Is it extra cool?? Is it like what Nicole Kidman hopes for on "date night"?

Either way, is this the end of Territory then?

Extra urban is just highway.

Territory will stick it out until the end of 2016. It is a different market segment.

Minor engine tweaks, but not sure on exact torque figures yet. Will know soon.

It might be good.
My Grand Cherokee has an extra knob position 'mud'.
Looks like a Kluger on steriods, and that's not a compliment.

I guess styling is a subjective matter. Each to their own.
Although I'm biased, they look absolutely fantastic in the flesh, inside and out.
are they bigger than the prado in the back I would love 3 t towing I wonder is it 300kg on the ball is it bigger than a prado all round ?

Actually, because this is directly based on the ranger/BT50, it is more comparable in size to the Challenger, or pathfinder.
Yes 300 on the ball.
I'll see what I can dig up on the GVM etc.

Some pretty hi tech features on top of what is shown on the video.
  • Adaptive cruise control
  • Blind spot detection
  • Rain sensing wipers
  • Anti pinch windows
  • Active noise cancelation
  • Lane departure warning
  • One touch electric folding third row seats
There's more, and obviously depends on what spec level.

It would be nice if the new Everest and Ranger come out with headlights wich are adjustable from the drivers seat.

I love the look of these and have been following the media updates over the last 12months with interest. I love the engine and transmission in my BT, put that in a 7 seater and i'm in heaven.

I hope they do a less 'wiz bang' high tech model, a bit like the GX range for the Toyota's, still a seven seater. The more electronics there are the more that will go wrong in my experience.
