Flinders Ranges Caravan Park (Hawker) is located at Hawker SA the gateway to the areas of southern Flinders Ranges area of Wilpena Pound etc. Its a clean tidy park with tidy facilities and a small park for the kids to play and burn off some energy. We have stayed here a couple of times and found the park to be a great place to continue any journey further north or even continue a trip heading south.

There is no grass but it is the outback ;) and some sites are drive through. If needed guided tours of the Flinders can be booked from the park plus any info you might require about the area.

Hey cruza driver, we are headed to flinders next weekend for 3 weeks for our first big trip in the van.
We are staying at Hawker for a couple of nights while we take a flight over lake Eyre and wilpena pound. Then headed to the pound and other areas up to Akaroola and out via strzelecki to innamincka back down to cameron corner and back home.
Good info about the caravan park.

The Flinders is on our next holiday wish list, and some of those photos just confirmed it for me.

We stayed at Rawnsley Park station closer to the park than Hawker by 50km and not as busy as Wilpena . Could have open fires in set areas near van at night cooked damper etc and mingled with other campers ,big camp kitchen had a pool kept the kids happy after a long day exploring and lots of walks around the station really enjoyed will be going back probably next year as part of Darwin trip .
