Chassis drawbar length

G'Day. Ive just bought a 2012 17.56-2 OB and have no idea if the drawbar length is standard or extended. Does anyone have any measurements of either a stock drawbar or of one that has been extended?

We have a 2014 17.56.2 OB and the distance from front of the van to the centre of the hitch is approximately 1250mm.

what you didnt tell him @dagree was that yours is the "short" draw bar............

he would guess so if his is 1500 - 1600mm long, but if its the same length, he would still not know.......

I think the extended one is 300mm longer than standard (@dagree 's one.........)

I must agree with big col an extended one is 300mm longer if u have heaps of room on draw bar it should be a longer one dont know how long standered on is

Sorry @Daniel Peterson the 1250mm is the length of a standard bar

I have a 17.56-2 with the extended drawbar and it 1520 mm from the front to the centre of the tregg hitch.

Cheers lads ill check my measurements when i get a chance. Stupid question , but do you measure from the front of the vans body or the front of the chassis.

I measured mine from the front of the Expanda, I can get a measurement from the cross beam on the chassis if you want just that I have toolbox and gas bottles in the way so just measured the easiest point.
