Hi there after some advice in regards to water leaks in the bed ends, our van is a older style with soft roof bed ends and they are leaking when the van is stored . I can only think that the water has come in through the seals on the bed ends. Have had a cover on there at times and the water still gets in but not as much and mainly seems to be when we get heavy rain.

Has anyone replaced the seals on their bed ends, if so how did you go about it ?

Thanks in advance for any help and advice
Jason

Hi Jason
we have the 2005 16 outback expanda Yes we had the same problem should have checked the van better before we did the deal but it was raining heavily and it was the model we were after right color interior etc,
6 months later we found water had got in and the ply started to swell , problem you are right it is the seal even the steel inside had rusted
Jayco had seals from memory i think they were about $20 or $25 a metre. strange but the rear double bed the seals were perfect.
not a hard job dont wait its hard to dry out the ply .
regards Shiraz.
