never tried it but cant see why it could not be done. they just operate on the 433mhz band like all the 240v remote switches that are available. you would think they would have lots of different codes in use otherwise you would run the risk of other peoples remotes switching your lights as well. Best to ask the supplier first perhaps


You can use other cheaper ways as well just do a search on ebay for 433mhz 12v remote switch and you will find lots of devices that are a lot cheaper than the sphere . this for example

The sphere system has 6 inputs, how many inputs do you need? I actually separated some of the lights in my caravan and bought a new 4 way transmitter with master off to control the lights. My caravan already has a 2 gang switch for the outside lights, so I am now using all 6 inputs. It was quite easy to reprogram and I am happy with the additional flexibility to control the lights. If you need more than 6 inputs, I can't see why you can't add another receiver module.
