I was wondering what position to have the battery switch in to charge the van battery in whilst travelling. Does it have to be in the 12volt position which is in the off position or the on position like it is to charge when plugged into 240v

Cheers Cruza

Hi Cruza

I asked Jayco where the position of the switch should be and they said to leave it on all the time. I have done this and have never had a problem with my power supply.

Hey Cruza

The switch needs to be on to charge while traveling or via 240, also needs to be on to run lights/pump etc if not plugged to mains.
Pump will run automatically if your on 240 power but not plugged to mains water (assuming tanks are full)
