We are about to recieve our 21.64-1

Apparently not many if any out there.

We have also just got our first Cruiser, a 200 GXL with winch and air bags, the rest is standard.

Anyone got any do's and don't for us we are new to this.

Thanks

Hope to see you around AUSTRALIA

Hi GCMASOS. I think you are talking about a 20.63.1 ? We are due to pick up our new 20.63.1 OB in a week or so. Ordered with :

- slide out club lounge - leather - plus the bed converter
- RM4605 AES fridge (the big one !)
- Alko ESC
- changed the TV cupboard near the door to a washing machine cupboard for a dishwasher (dont wash dishes at home - why do it on holidays !)
- bunch of extra powerpoints and external lights
- full oven
- IBIS air con instead of the Coleman

Towing with a new Jeep grand Cherokee Limited. About to fit a set of caravan movers (Purple Line ECO).

Upgraded from our 16.49.1 Outback so hopefully all that we learned with that van will come in handy with this one. What sort of setup did you order with your unit ?

Cheers !

Hi Guys.

I've never heard of a 21.63.1?

I just googled 21.63.1 and didn't find anything.

The I googled 20.63.1 and found this. Wow! What a van. Very nice!

Its a bit odd. The 20.63.1 is a 21 foot van. You would like to think that the first number is the same as the imperial length - but thats not the case. In the same way - a 16.49.2 is a 17 foot van. Go figure !

I thought the new double hard lid model was the 21-64-1. Its what we thought was the 20-63-2 but turned out to be 21ft. Adam ordered one recently then upgraded his Prado to a 200 series to cope with it.

After looking at the plans for the 21 I am wondering how Jayco would go with rotating the bed 90 degrees as in a traditional van and selling that as a model.

I think your idea is a great idea Brad.

The only negative I have with the Expanda is that one person always has to climb over the other to get out of bed. If they rotated the bed 90 degrees, then this would prevent that.

The vans would lose a little room length ways, but I still think that it'd be a popular alternative.

Throw it in their suggestion box Brad.

Yes I got the 21 right, but its a 64.

Checked the plan that jayco sent me. Def 21.64-1 not yet released to the public. only at the request did they agree to make or lose the sale.
