Did you get a 240 plug as well? Most 12v tvs come with both these days but if you only have the 12v plug then use the 12v socket in the van.

Assuming you have a battery and a 12v socket, of course.

If not take the 12v plug to an electrical place...Jaycar? ....and get the 240 version. The pin connectors to the tv are variable so you'll need to match it correctly.....or you may have one at home. I know we seem to have hundreds of ditterent sizes as I never throw one out

Aaaaaghhhhhh.

Then off to jaycar you go! Or rummage through the rubbish in the shed or garage.

Should be easy to do...it's more fiddly to replace the other way, I've found.

If it's too expensive look at Kogan prices...I seem to remember they're good...or any other tv.

What snout an antenna? You'll need one!

Then one can assume you didn't get a TV aerial fitted ?????

TV's usually have 12v and 240v supplies but the socket on the back of the TV can be the same as the supply from the 240v converter is down to 12v, just like most laptop computers, I would be asking the dealer where the 240v lead is................

Guys thanks for the info, these are the leads that are supplied, one for 240v the other for 12v, but if we have no 240v to plug into the van to supply the TV as in free camping then there is no where to plug the 12v lead into

Not unusual the plugs have probably come off behind it, just undo the 2 screws and pull the plate out, won't move very far as they don't have excess cable, while there make sure the aerial plugs are tight, of course you have checked the fuses in the setec.

PS: Oh and make sure the 12v switch is turned on or no 12v anywhere.
