I am looking to buy a 18.58-2CL OB which, looks like a fairly new model, so will unfortunately probably have to buy new.
Wife wants a Club Lounge model, and wanted to know pros and cons.Obviously Club Lounge gives a bigger "living" area, but you lose space in the bathroom so they put a very narrow sink in there to compensate. We can live with the smaller sink, but am I missing anything else. All opinions welcome.

Not sure with the 18 but we rejected it in the 16 as it interrupted the flow a bit and made access to one of the beds a bit difficult.

From memory, the table had to be swung around to get easy access to the front bed....but there are only two of us so the dinette was big enough for our couch potato lifestyle but, may not be big enough for a family.

and we didn't want to knock into anything if we get up in the night....the dinette is out of the way of the bed and makes it easier to move around.

As said, not sure of the 18 though.....but they're the reasons for our choice.

We have the club lounge in our panda with the slide out.

With the way the table mounts to the slide, it has a horizontal bar to hold it up, meaning only kids can actually fit around the back of the lounge.

Whilst it looks big, it's not that great to sit at.

We wouldn't get a club lounge again.

I deleted the slide out because of my perceived performance issues based on where I knew we intended taking the van, and equally important because it was a critical weight saving we desperately needed. We took the tape measure to both models which revealed exactly what you found, it looks big but it doesn't provide significant benefit. We have equal gap right around the table, and our marginally shorter wings give us shorter, and easier access to the back seat. It works really well for us and I think we'd aim to have it again .... if that ever happens.

(Although our table top did fall off the mount plate and bounce around inside the van)

I love our slide out. I'll often sit at the back (so I get a better view of the TV but don't tell anyone that). We have had to move the table around (it pivots on the stand) but we would not have any hope of having a meal without drinks and cups flying everywhere with the 5 of us (2 adults and 3 smallish kids) without the slider.

We moved the table so it sits offset to one side so it can give a bit more room.

For us it's ok as we are generally only a couple but we struggle when we have extra adults

I can see how extra Adults might be a bit tighter - but it may be even worse with the smaller table....

We can fit 4 adults around ours very comfortably. From our stressful research the actual size difference btw the haves and have nots is negligible, the wings are only slightly shorter, but the rear slightly longer ... swing and round a bouts. The new 20ft'ers is a different story; noticeably different.

Hi, we got the same van in 2016, obviously without the club lounge. We love the washing machine provision and we use this space as a dirty clothing basket, works a treat and helps keep things tidy.

We have a 18.58.1 (club lounge and no shower / toilet). Love all the seating. We also usually have the bunks set up up as a lounge for extra seating. Perfect for us.

We purchased the 20.63-1 club lounge slide out and haven't looked back since.
Yes it adds extra weight but it well worth it for the extra room that it provides, plus I like to lounge around/lie down while whatcing TV from the slide out lounge.
I thought it might cause a few issues with getting past the lounge when getting in and out of the van, but all you need is to open the slide out about one foot and you can walk past no worries.
The only issue we have had is 2 new sets of cushions so far as the quality from Jayco aren't best.
