9.30am.....

Genuine success rate for reversal of rain. We decided to make use of today's rain (no wind so far) and test the awning seals which have been done recently.

Result....awning is still dry, no rain since its been opened so still have no idea if the sealing has been successful.

:(

0700 15mm in gauge when emptied, 1000 now 30mm in the thing, still in shorts and T shirt, just bare feet................nearly 1100 and still raining, Big Mal kneeling down so lake doesn't appear on roof.....better do a watertight integrity inspection I think.

I've just added a bead of silicone to the awning....had the awning out and could see where it leaking so took advantage of the shelter.

Hopefully, that's another job done! Annoyingly, it was supposed to be fixed when it went to the rehab ward a couple of weeks ago but at least it's not pouring in as it was before that.

We're now over the 120mm today so all tanks are over full.

@Bluey I thought Melbourne looked wet when I looked at the radar earlier....must have gone around you.

80 odd mm all up and Ute is dirty, as in the middle of it all we went for a derb down a track with BIG puddles to flush any beach sand hidden away, tracks are all sandy in the forest so can't tell if it did anything but a sandy fresh water wash.......................

just what are you trying to say @Crusty181 ........................?
that the council provide a quality service, are willing to go to extraordinary lengths to assist in any way possible, have no personal agendas and are a truly truly necessary part of our multiple layered system of duplication.
