Advice on new mirrorless camera

This is a great website to get the good oil on your short list.... been around for years.
Very thorough tests with objective measures.
As a keen photographer your lens is where you should spend your $.
For holiday shots a super zoom will be most useful rather than two separate lenses.

My view on cameras change all the time but at the moment a Fuji xt 10 is hard to beat. You can get it with a 18-55 kit lens which is a good unit for the price. I think if you shop around it will set you back around the $1000 mark all up. It's not a professional camera but can give you professional results. I love that it's small but has enough dials to be able to have most things at your fingertips with out the need to use menus.

While I shoot with Nikon cameras normally with the right tweaks this Fuji gives amazing skin tones "sooc" straight out of camera.

For what's it's worth I've been a full time pro photographer for 13 years. I would never use this camera for work but I would never use a pro camera for travel ( they are too big and bulky ).
