all you ute fanatics who say triton is better than BT better than Ranger better than amarock etc etc can now so an battle it out :)

http://www.supercars.com/news/championship/superutes-to-launch-in-2017/

Diesel dual cab ute racing joins the (no longer V8) Supercars next year.
Who's up for it: @boots33 (colorado) @17triton (triyon) @cruza driver (BT) @Crusty181 (Nav) @JaycoQ (Ranger)....what else - amarok, Lux, 79 to fill the starting grid?
Silverardos need two grid spaces to themselves, and as for the F650.....

edit: oops...forgot a defender 110 ragtop for some class to bring up the rear;)

"According to the released preliminary specifications, each diesel four-cylinder engine will have computer controlled power output and drive the rear wheels, but with OEM suspension hardpoints and gearbox, weigh a minimum of 1800kg, utilise “cosmetic aero” only and feature a control ECU, rollcage, seats, tyres, brakes and springs/dampers." As an ex owner of 2 Disco's, the oil leaks are an integral part of the chassis rust protection system and completely intentional.
They also help indicate when an oil refill is due - when no more new oil is visible on your drive, then time to add more oil.

Sounds like a good idea. I have been trying to scrub out the stock tyres that came with it so I can get some K02's. A couple of "Fast Laps" should do the trick. :)

Well what a lot of people don't know is that @17triton and I tested this format earlier in the year... with limited success.

Yeah...small crowd. Maybe needed better advertising - get the kids to knock up a few posters to stick in supercheap auto windows or something

Not a bad idea, I'll get @17triton's kids and mine onto it.

We tested a revolutionary "McPhillarmy Park Pitstop, with compulsory hydration and peanut butter sanga consumption" which was hugely popular for teams involved....

The new position description for track marshalls that involved enthusiasm for race tracks might require a rewrite though...

You're on. I'll pit my PX Ranger against your Maloo.

I'm such a good sport I'll even let you pick the first 10 Km of track - I'll pick the next 10 Km ;)

But I'm not so sure I'd take the Disco on.....
