Hi all,
We have an 18-56-9 which has an ensuite/toilet. Since we've arrive at our destination today the toilet will not flush. We haven't used it since our last trip in November when it was fine. Now when we press the 'button' nothing happens, no noise no water. Anybody have any ideas?
Thanks Kim

Is it a vacuum flush toilet or the Theford type where you have to open the valve first.

In ours 16-49-3 when you remove the cassette to empty it there's fuse in a little panel to the left/rear if the same check the fuse some also have a fuse in the Setec control box.

Make sure battery switch is on too. I've done that one!

But, another time ours was stuffed. Had a blown circuit board or something, fixed under warranty. Common problem apparently.

Hope you're in a van park, could be a "cr@p" holiday if you're not. Ahahahaha!!!!!

If it's not the fuses turn the light on in the bathroom and press the flush button if the light dims the pump is gone and will need replacing if the light does not dim the micro switch has gone if you have a soldering iron you can remove the micro switch and replace it with a Jaycar one for 50c or the circuit board can be bought for around $38.

You can also when the pump is removed is spray a bit of WD40 in the impella and using a small nail or screw driver lever the impella around and this may get the pump working for a while.

On ours underneath the van ,about where the toilet is there is a junction box where the flush pump gets it power , and on ours all the wires were all corroded and no power to pump, poor sealing on junction box

Thanks everyone
Turned out to be a blown fuse in the main fuse box. Hubby had a 1.5 hour round trip from Nagambie to Shepparton to get a new one, all working perfectly now
Cheers

Glad to see you got it sorted.
We had the same issue with my parent's sterling recently.
Ended up being that the pump had seized after not being used for a while.
The caravan reparman got it going for us pretty easily.

Cheers

A tip the repairer gave me, empty top tank after your trip, some of you may have noticed some bits of black stuff (algae) when you flush if you haven't emptied your tank for a while, they said this can block up the pump and stop it from working. In saying that I need to empty mine!

Are you guys putting the chem's in the top tank? Are the chems supposed to stop algae?
