Finally the solenoid arrived that I am using for the air tank drain. It is a 12v, 1/4" NPT threads, normally closed solenoid.
I fitted the switch and wiring all ready so all I had to do was fit the solenoid. I removed the manual drain from the tank and fitted a elbow 1/4 x 1/4 push to connect air fitting in the drain tank hole. I made a bracket to mount the solenoid to the floor of the van and then connected it to the air tank with some 1/4" tube.
Now to drain the water out the tank all I have to do is flick a switch.

12v solenoid with PTC fittings screwed and elbow for tank.

Have you re-plumbed the subfloor with PVC, or is that how it was delivered. Bit too neat for a Jayco
Yes is to neat for Jayco, When I first got the Van 3 years ago I spent about 3 week under the van tiding up underneath. Hoses and wiring was all over the place. Its a lot neater now, I added the centre PVC pipe to support the hoses going to the 3rd water tank.

So clean @Crusty181 will be jealous for sure, why do they still use 3 straps on the tanks when obviously 4 would be better...................actually both of you @Base23 and @achjimmy stop showing pics of under your vans, some of us have well worn under bodies and it makes us want to clean and polish stuff...............and we don't really want to.......

Took the Basestation away for the long weekend to pt Elliot. It towed great and was so easy to level when setting up.
No getting out the leveling blocks, sorting where to place them, getting told to go back, forward, back a bit more, no go forward and then unhook the car and its still not quite right.
Just push 2 buttons and its all done.

Sounds terrible, youv'e wrecked one of the great past times for some people in that you provide no entertainment by having a mild domestic and the getting in and out of the car to check all the time....................................Used to love the air bags on my truck, until there would be a leak in the line, get up in morning and she'd be listing to one side, drive me nuts searching for it........but it would be cool on Big Mal.

Fitted a new jockey wheel to the van today. I needed more travel on the jockey wheel and the factory alko wheel was becoming very hard to wind. I purchased the 5 rib Bos370 jockey wheel. It has 400mm of travel and can be operated by a cordless drill.
Fits in standard clamp and can be left in position while traveling

down with extention and base plate fitted
