I know this isn't expanda related but as there are a lot of members on here that like to still "rough it" I thought I would share some info on my recent purchase. By the way although Crashpad are a Ballarat company I have no affiliation with them just a very happy customer.

Well after a recent weekend away with @cruza driver and @numbez and seeing there new swags had me thinking it was time to find a bit of comfort and upgrade from the Oztrail Mitchell swag that I've had for a few years now. After hearing glowing reports of their swags I purchased one of Crashpad's Stealth single swag.

This is how I picked it up and straight away noticed the quality and attention to detail. 2 big carry handles but also grab handles on the end for those times when you need to drag the swag from the end. And the zips all protected under a weather flap. The bag opens right up making it easy to take the swag in and out when required and it's worth noting the make the bag big enough that you can roll your sleeping bag and pillow in with it, great thinking hey! Inside with the swag is a pvc bag that holds the poles and tent pegs. The poles are a lot bigger and stronger than poles I've seen on other swags and takes no time to set up. The mattress is fantastic and it is 80mm thick eggshell with a removable washable cover that can zip off. And it is a large single swag at 1000 mm wide by 2100mm long.

This is it setup with mattress removed about to season it. I love the black look of these swags.

I am yet to get away in it but I will give some updates along with any other members who would like to share their feedback on these great swags. Ps they make them in different colours and they make a double as well.
RRP for my swag is just under $400 which I think is great value I believe.

You can have a look here www.crashpadgear.com

Cheers Matt.

How are you finding this swag 1 year on @17triton?
They look great in black canvas, but do they get hot in early morning sun or anything like that.
Any disadavantages now you've had it for a while?

The swag has been great @halbster over the Easter period got away in it 3 weekends in a row and loved it. Haven't had it anywhere where it has been hot in the morning in it so no help there sorry. Thoroughly recommend them though.

Not going to suggest these are as high quality, but I bought these for my kids last year and Im pretty happy with the way they are wearing after 20 or so nights with rain on 2 and no leaking.

Nope. Nothing but praise for mine and not aware of problems for mates who have the swags.

it turned out the poles had been made too short and then quickly investigated and sent me new poles, been up a week now in rain & sun and all good, happy days.
